Refund Policy

1. Overview

At LKHLCS, we are committed to providing high-quality handyman and property maintenance services. Because our services involve labor, time, scheduling, and materials, our refund policy differs from traditional retail businesses.

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may or may not be issued.

2. Deposits

For larger projects, a deposit may be required to secure materials and reserve scheduling.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased.

  • If a project is canceled before materials are purchased, deposits may be partially refundable at our discretion.

  • Any non-recoverable costs already incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.

3. Completed Services

Due to the nature of handyman services:

  • Labor costs for completed work are non-refundable.

  • If you are dissatisfied with workmanship, you must notify us within [7–30 days] of service completion.

  • We reserve the right to inspect and correct any workmanship-related issue before a refund is considered.

Our priority is to fix the issue, not refund the service.

4. Materials and Special Orders
  • Special-order or custom materials are non-refundable.

  • Materials purchased on behalf of the client are subject to the supplier’s return policies.

  • Restocking fees imposed by suppliers may be deducted from any eligible refund.

5. Cancellations

If a scheduled service is canceled:

  • With at least [24–48 hours] notice: No cancellation fee (unless materials were purchased).

  • With less than required notice: A cancellation fee may apply.

  • If we arrive and cannot access the property: A service call fee may be charged.

6. No Refunds for Pre-Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for hidden damage, pre-existing structural issues, mold, corrosion, improper prior installations, or other underlying conditions discovered during service.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Cosmetic differences when matching older materials

  • Changes of mind after service completion

  • Delays caused by weather, hurricanes, or supplier shortages common in the Florida Keys

7. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

  • Please allow [5–10 business days] for processing.

8. Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact LKHLCS directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a credit card dispute or chargeback.

We are committed to resolving concerns professionally and promptly.

9. Our Commitment

We value long-term relationships with homeowners, realtors, and property managers throughout the Florida Keys. Our goal is customer satisfaction through quality workmanship, clear communication, and fair business practices.
