When Jim and Wendy F. of Kansas purchased a home in the Old Town section of Key West, Florida, they needed reliable help getting the property cleaned up, repaired, refreshed, and ready for its next chapter as a rental property.
They were referred to Angelo Leto and Lower Keys Home & Lawn Care Services by Stacy Ryan, Manager for Zintsmaster & Team, in March 2026. What began as an exterior painting project quickly grew into a full property facelift, both inside and out.

The Challenge
The home needed a variety of repairs and improvements after purchase. Because Jim and Wendy were managing much of the process from out of state, communication, trust, and steady progress were just as important as the physical work itself.
The project included exterior prep and painting, wood repair, interior wall repairs, floor stripping and staining, closet door work, and interior paint touch-ups. Along the way, unexpected issues, including hidden mold concerns, required honest communication and practical problem-solving.
